(Querist) 07 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
I am intending to purchase a MHADA property wherein the lockin period has expired, The seller wants the following documents from me inorder to obtain an NOC from Mhada

Bank preapproval letter
Banks payment schedule
Residence proof of the buyers
If co-buyer , marraige certificate
I'd proof of the buyers,
Employment proof
Undertaking that the flat is being purchased for self residential use.

I would highly appreciate the guidance from the forum members, if the above asked document are usually asked and also if besides the NOC from MHADA , is there any other documents I need to obtain from Mhada

Inspect all Original Documents, get xerox, get it checked thru local Advocate who will draft Agreement & Regn it

Thank you Mr.Ajay for the prompt response, Was getting a mixed feedback that the transfer and NOC charges were linked to the sale value.

Thanks once again

Dear Mr. Raj,

would like to take the opportunity to mention that this forum is indeed beneficial for people like us.

however, have some additional queries wherein the seller mentions that I would not be able to purchase a MHADA apartment if there is a property in the name of my wife, which is the case

And also that the cost for transfer and NOC issues is around 2 percent of the sale value

Request clarifications

Regards
Ronny

It shall be better to open the official site of MHADA and go through each and every relevant information thereto.
ajay sethi (Expert) 11 January 2013
no . NOc doesnt cost 2%. cost of transfer would be stamp duty and registration charges .
