Dear Sir, I need your help on the below subject.
I lost my father in 2008. He was working in Indian railways at that time. So, I am eligible for compassionate ground appointment in Indian railways
I applied for railway job on compassionate grounds in 2009 . I attended the written exam which was conducted in Bhuwaneswar.and cleared it too.I kept on dragging my employment with railways and never use to respond to letters sent by railway office people. Even at the time of receiving registered post/speed post letters I never use to do full signature of mine on the acknowledgement cards.
I did not show 100% interest in joining Indian railways at that time as they are not ready to offer me posting at my preferred location (Visakhapatnam). They want to give posting in Bhuwaneswar. Even though both Visakhapatnam and bhuwaneswar are part of East coast railways.
Finally in February 2012 they wrote a letter to me saying that they are closing my case for compassionate ground appointment as I was not responding to their letters.
Now I want help from you all experts to see if there is any way for me to get the case opened. Now I am hearing that Visakhapatnam location has few openings.
I never gave any letter in hand written saying that I DON'T WANT RAILWAY JOB.I am well qualified (Btech & Mtech)
Please help me.
1) Can I get the file opened again 2) If so can you please help me with the content to address a letter to railway authorities 3) whats the best way to get the job in Visakhapatnam.

you have been foolish . if you were offered a confirmed job at bhubaneshwar you ought to have grabbed it . subsequently taken a transfer . the fact that you ignored number of letters from railways has gone against you . hence your opening for compassionate appointment has been closed in 2012 ,you cannot get case reopened now .

Lost opportunities never return again. Your indefinite silence about non-acceptance of job, itself was denial.
