Precautions to take ab for 498a

(Querist) 07 March 2014 This query is : Resolved
what are the precautions that should be taken for anticipatory bail. if we get the bail petition, how far is it works? is the individual seeking the ab should attend the court? what if he was arrested while attending the court? plz guide

First apply for AB. Once you get it , surrender in lower court and get confirmed bail.
Try to maintain distance from your wife and her relatives. They may try to cancel the bail on allegation of tampering with evidence or threatening them.

is the ab can be submitted to the arresting authority also and can we get it signed by surities in his presence also if megistrate is not available ?
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 09 March 2014
Your question is vague. Once you are granted with the AB, it has to be executed through a lower court by surrendering yourself and producing sufficient solvency. You need not show the order copy or to inform the investigation agency about your AB or enlargement on bail.
