Urgently require draft/format of indemnity bond for loss of demand draft.please help.

Dear Shyam,
You had raised the same point in the Forum, where it was replied by me as under:
Approach your bank branch where from you obtained the DD. They themselves would give you the Indemnity Bond Format. While the form given by Mr. Khan is OK, yet the Bank concerned would be insisting on the Bond in the format which they have. Better check up.

To supplement the reply by Mr.Ramu, you need to enclose the counterfoil of the challan remitted for purchase of the said lost DD. If it was purchased to the debit of your account maintained at the bank, details like A/C No, Date of Purchase, Beneficiary, DD Amount, etc is sufficient for the bank to execute indemnity and issue a replacement Draft. The procedure is simple if the branch/bank is under the network of CBS.

(You may get approval of the Bank before putting it on the Stamp Paper, for any alterations, if any).

Click " more" under the head "agreements". Select Indemnity bond in the next appearing window. Click on the 7th item in the coming screen. Format for your requirement will be displayed. Dowload and get acceptance from Bank before executing in stamp paper.
