Dear Mr. Khaleel, What you are saying is correct. I could have also answered in a general way. In that case I would have answered without even knowing that there is an age restriction imposed by BCI. THEREFORE THE BIG QUESTION IS ARE WE AWARE THAT THERE IS ANY AGE RESTRICTION PRESCRIBED BY BCI FOR PURSUING LL.B.?

Dear Mr. Mahalakshmi, Thanks for giving the information. Additionally indicate the exact provision i.e. Section, or Rule or Notification under which the said age limit has been prescribed. Why I am asking is even during the current academic year in Delhi persons who are more than 50-55 years have been admitted. Therefore, please give the additional details as required by me.

I have since found out from BCI Website that 21 years maximum age for +2 qualification based 5 year integrated law course is already in vogue. However, the 30 years maximum age limit for admission to 3 year LL.B. course though prescribed under Rules of Legal Education 2008 is yet to take effect, since the Rules will take effect only from the date of Notification. The rules have not been notified yet. Relevant portion of the information available in BCI Website is given in thee attached file.
