petitioner (husband) admitted his sign in panchyat agreement,where he admitted his second marriage but denied the contents of agreement.what is the relevancy of his admission ?

Document as a whole shall be read in evidence and such evidence shall be used against him until and unless he proves it otherwise on the basis of strong documentary evidence.

Only after the due proof of the contents of the document and his signature, such admission would be taken into account.

Mere admission of his signature will not impute him with the knowledge of the contents of the document. You have to prove that he signed the document after knowing the contents only.

Agreed with the view of Mr. S.Subramanian, document can be proved in whole (contents and signature) mere acceptance of signature on any document is not impute that the signer have knowledge of the contents o the document.

Only the signature is admissible not the contents. Second marriage is not admitted in given circumstances.
