Marriage Registration

My son Hindu is presently staying in Netherlands. He is getting married to a Romanian Christian Girl in Mauritious.

I seek advise on the actions they have to take to ensure the legalization of their marriage in India and get marriage certificate.

I also would request to confirm if their marriage cert in Mauritious shall be valid in India

THEY CAN REGISTER THE MARRIAGE UNDER SPECIAL MARRIAGE ACT IN INDIA.THANKS.

If both of them have to retain their respective religions then it is advised to get the marriage registered under Special Marriage Act otherwise it can also be got registered under Hindu Marriage Act in India which is also valid in abroad.

if the girl accepted you may registed under Hindu marriage act or otherwise you may registered your marriage under special marriage act.
