Proof of Domicile for MHADA Tenament

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 10 May 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

My Wife has following documents issued in Maharashtra.
1) Domicile Certificate
2) Passport
3) PAN Card
4) Voter Card.
5) Ration Card (Still has her name and not yet transferred to Delhi).

Around 3 years back she has been married and currently living with me in Delhi.

Can she apply for MHADA flats. Currently her age is 34years.

Eligibility Criteria say that
1. The applicant for the allotment of tenements or plot should have minimum 15 years stay in the state of Maharashtra during the preceding continuous 20 years from the date of application.

As she has been married to me 3 years back and was staying Maharashtra for around 30years.

The important criteria is the intention to reside in Mharashtra even after marriage. If she intends to come back to mumbai and stay in maharashtra she should be eligible to apply for the flats. A temporary stay at Delhi for 3 years should not disqualify her from applyinbg for the flats.

Just clarify the terms and conditions.. We can't interpret it in favour of us.. As per your words your wife were lived 30 years in mh. But you are admit that past three years she is live at delhi. Then please just clear your self from concern board..
