Buying agricultural property

I am not a agriculturist nor any one from my family is. But i still what to buy an agricultural land in karnataka. I have no intension of converting the land to residential or something else. Basically plan to generate revenue from agriculture(banana, cashew, coconuts etc etc ). May be a small income initially but i think it wold work well in future.
I know in as per rules in karnataka its not possible if not an agriculturist. Let me know what can i do to be eligible. I would be needing loan as well. I would be planning to pay off the loan from my salary.
