regarding case in high court lucknow

(Querist) 20 July 2011 This query is : Resolved 
my mother was murdered in the year 2009 in district sultanpur of uttar pradesh.the accused was charged under section 302,394,411 ipc but now the accused is being acquited by session court after 2 years.the acqital by session court was done on 16th july 2011. now I want to approach high court lucknow. so can i directly appeal in the high court or only state has the authority to appeal in the high court.please tell me the procedure to appeal in the high court this case

You can also file an appeal even without caring of state authorities but it is better if you approach District Attorney of Sultanpur and involve him in your desire so that a proper appeal may be filed.

If you go alone then engage a renouned counsel to represent your case and handover him entire case documents along-with certified copy of judgment under appeal. It shall be better, if you discuss entire case with him.

As per section 372 Cr.P.C. you can directly file an appeal in High Court.
