it shows you have intention of cheating you can be booked for fraud, cheating forgery etc see sections 415 to 420 of I P C and 468 to 471 of I P C.

if you can possible to revock the cheque then no problem, otherwise either it will punished situation upon.

This depends upon the intention. If a person deliberately with intention to cheat or mislead the Bank or someone else put wrong signature on the cheque, then consequences may follow for cheating/fraudulent act. However, if it was genuine innocent mistake occured, one can rectify and explain the same in which case there is no question of any penal action.

Cheating and all that complaint is not so easy. The other side has to even allege lots of thins before complaint can be filed.
Few examples - 1) cheque was issued to you 2) You have signed before witness 3) there was legal liability or some promise was made . 4) cheque was presented for collection before validity.5) It bounced and such certificate is taken not normal computer bank intimation. and so on and on and on ....

No case u/s138Negotiable Instrument Act is not made out. AMOUNTS to cheating by impersonation under section 415, 419, 420 read with 467, 468, 471 Indian penal code.
