Sir i got divorced in aug 2010 under mutual consent.a female child aged 10 years is with me.In april 2011 I remarried to a divorcee under family compulsion though i was not interested to remarry.now my new wife is employed in a pvt school on admin post.her school is delhi whereas i am staying at gurgaon having my own house, my daughter from earlier marriage is also studying in good school in gurgaon.my wife now insist me that i should shift to delhi otherwise she will not come to gurgaon .She had marely stayed with me 4-5 days and left my house and is staying at her house in delhi.With me I have my old father and my daughter from earlier marriage.Therefore I am unable to seek to her demand to shift to new delhi for her job.now,she is pressursing me to accept her demand through common relatives and sometime threatening me to file dowry/domestic violence case against me.I am in deep trouble. pl advise how to get rid of this problem

try to draw a center line and get resolved the problem. you still seem to have no dispute in regard to your relations. the only dispute is that of stying in delhi or gurgaon, try to get settled this and move further or else get back to us for legal recourse we will surely suggest

Residence in Delhi nearing Gurgaon border will also be as good as Gurgaon, or else, being in a Pvt. school, she can also get job of a teacher in Gurgaon, as her job in private school at Delhi will not get her any pension on retirement.

So you have added salt to your injury caused by second one.You ought to have discussed these issues earlier with her which you did not,try to let her understand your problems through those under whose compulsion you married her though you were not interested to remarry.

So far it is a social problem which can be resolved wisely,she can very well do to and fro if she is so much interested in that particular job or have option to leave that and to join a new one in Gurgaon .

do you have her email id . send emails to her that although you have been married since april 2011 till date she has stayed with you for only 5 days . request her to come back . point out your compulsion that you have an daughter and aged father to look after .
in said correspondence also record that you love her a lot and that you have not taken single paisa as dowry . build up a case so that in case she files complaint under section 498a you will have some evidence of w efforts made by you for reconcilation

Am agree with mr.laxman. I think there is no big issue. Its all in the game. So just try to finish it without making complicated..

u rebuke ur wife to live with u..otherwise let her face legal consquense..legal or illegal does not make much sense..just see ur wife love u or not..if not finish her at all cost..what is not lovable must be discarded

Dear sir
First of all I am thankful to you all for giving me expert opinions.Sir I have tried 3 to 4 times through our common relatives for reconciliation but all in vain.Most of you advised that this is a minor issue yes sir it is a minor issue but she is very arrogant and during our mediation she has made her intention clear and threatened that she will lay claim on my property.dear sir I am very afraid as I dont know how much percentage of my property she can claim on.I want to mention here that I have a house in gurgaon with a rental value around 30 thousand .Apart from this house I have ancestral property at my village in najafgarh.Sir Pl help me in informing me the following queries.

1.can she claim on my house where I live along with my daughter and old age father.
2.Can she lay claim on my ancestrol property at my village.

ur wife can not claim except maintenance.ancestoral non ancestoral does t matter.she claim as of right in any property whereever it is.for other opinion decide first what u want to do
