boy is muslim by religion and girl is hindu by religion. both have married under the special marriage act. they now want divorce by mutual consent. under which act both should apply for divorse by mutual consent???

case law with respect to that needeed along with i.e. why the specific act

No other act, but Special Marriage Act would be applicable in your case.
