you cannot choose a lawyer on basis as to whether he is gay , bisexual , lesbian etc .

what you need is a lawyer who understands facts of your case and is able to offer an appropriate solution .

I think, let some gay or gay-friendly lawyer only respond to his request, if he don't want to deal with any other lawyer. There may probably be some of his specific problem to be discussed, which only some gay lawyer can understand better.

Probably you are mistaken that India is so forward, like USA, where any advocate would publically confess that he is gay. You have left no scope for any particular lawyer to communicate with you by posting your query as anonymous, as he would not be able to respond to you by accessing your PM link.
