Jointly owned agricultural land

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 25 December 2011 This query is : Resolved
Ancestral agricultural land (7 acres) jointly owned by my father and his cousin (i.e. Record of Right - 7/12 document has names of both of them on it). This 7 acres land is still not partitioned. The cousin has sold a part of this land without informing my father a few years back. What legal action can my father take in this case.
