Sections in 156-3 / fir

I am applying fr 156(3) for direction.
We have included prayer fr 498(A), 406.
If i get direction, wil the FIR be registred only in 498(A) and 406 ? or will the police include others possible sections?

Police is under obligation to register as many offences as the complaint discloses and is not confined to 498A/406 only. for eg : if your complaint also discloses the offence of cheating 420 is also to be added.

After the police registers the FIR - and investigates it is free to add on more offences when they present the charge-sheet.

Police has necessarily to lodge FIR as per direction of the court but it can change it during the investigation if facts are found otherwise.
