Purchase of land from sc candidate

sir,
I am from odisha.I have purchased a piece of land from a sc candidate and still not completed egistration.but i came to know that it is not permisible,i can`t purchase land from sc/st.is their any rules regarding this sir?what should i do now?kindly help me.

Purchase of land of SC/ST are prohibited by the respective state laws.
For trnsfer of SC/ST property, special permission from the district collector needs to be obtained, which is very difficult.

you ought to have taken precautions before purchasin land . ask the seller for refund

Very difficult to get refund. There are many people who take unfair advantage of the law for prevention of atrocity.
