Society issue

(Querist) 21 June 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,

I would like to know can a non-member of any cooperative housing society can file a legal case on behalf of a member for example my mother is a member and a senior citizen. Can i take up a case on behalf of her since it is not possible for her due to health issues?

Regards,

Sunil

Yes on PAO

get the power of attorney and file the case, but before filing the case go thru., the state society act because civil courts have no jurisdiction to try the suit by the member against the society and before filing you will have to issue notice to the society
