Condonation of delay suit filed for ex parte order of rent.

(Querist) 11 July 2012 This query is : Resolved
I was a tenant for a residential property for last 20 years on a rent of
Rs. 500\- P.M. the landlord has harassed me badly by demolishing of the building. I have taken a stay against it and paid all the rent admitted by me and court has accepted and he has withdrawn the money deposited as a rent without any objection. During the course of the case my sons have made their own property. They pressed me to vacate the property. I have done so. Without asking any Garcia.
In this period he has filed a suit of Rs. 1100\- P.M. against me and a recovery has been pressed for Rs. 4 lack.
I am a 78 years old man and doing practice in taxation. I have no source to deposit the above demand or any part of it.
Please let us know whether the condonation of delay can be accepted without deposit any money in cash .
