Dear Sirs,

This is just an hypothetical situation suppose in the Council Election of ICAI or ICSI. Can a contesting member ask for the voters list from a Returning officer after the declaration of result???

Hypothetical questions can draw only hypothetical replies. Moreover, the returning officer is not supposed to provide any such list.

The question arises, if a contesting member does not know even the basic things, like the list can be asked only from the Secretary/ executive body of the organisation, how he can be expected to serve the interests of the members?
