Delhi high court employee and ngo

I work at delhi high court as jr. Judicial Assistant.
I wish to start an ngo for students of government school. Can I do that. Can I hold any position in that. How? Please guide

Dear Ravinder,

I don't think there is any ban on starting a Non-profit Government organisation by an employee, if the activities of the employee don't cause any hinderance in his official duties.

However, you may better check prosions of Conduct Rules, as may be applicable to the jr. Judicial Assistants of Delhi.
