i had an accident in bangalore and the other motorist assaulted me.
i retaliated and hit him as well but his face had a few scratches from me.
after spending 5 hours in the police station they asked me to write an apology letter and made me sign on a sheet in kannada (petty case is what i was told)
the constable said i should come and meet the SI another day and probably pay Rs100 fine after seeing a magistrate.
i was not given the sheet i signed (white and had 2 carbon copies in yellow)
i cant understand what has happened. can someone explain what i should do

that is the whole problem they did not give me a copy of the form they made me sign.
since i wasnt intimated can i just leave it till they call me or send me something

It shall be better to obtain the copy of the document which those successfully got signed from you otherwise none shall be able to advise you.
