Boy electrecuted by live wire from his flat window. which court to approach for remedy

last week my friends cousin son 12 years boy died due to electric shock high tenion wire which was passing from his flat window, only distance was 2fts !!what is the remedy for his father who has only son?? can he file a case on electricity dept??
after getting electrocuted he fell down from second floor and died on spot with 90 percent burned.

the house owner told that his building built is as per norms and he has all the permissions with him .. in which court he can file a case?? should he directly go to high court ?? if any provision in article 226??

He has got both the Civil Court and Writ remedy, but its better to move Civil Court rather than approaching HC.

This appears to be an accident only.
I do not think any remedy lies against unfortunate death of the said persons.

You may try by poreferring Writ through an expert lawyer at your jurisdiction High Court.

Though you have not put much facts of the case like whether a police complaint was made against electric department or not and whether post mortem had been conducted or not over the body of deceased boy and whether a representation has been made to concerned officials of the electricity company and I do presume that all such has been done so now a suit for torts is required to be filed before the local civil court,

Even a criminal case can also be filed against the concerned officials of the company.
