Dear Sir,
wife have filed DV case and it is pending. I wanted to know that does DV comes into Criminal case. I am looking for change in job and in most of the companies they do background check before hring. I wanted to know that does this case can affect the Companies the decision before hiring a candidate.
I dont have any another case on me expect this. Please guide in this regard.

it is civil but jurisdiction has been conferred on criminal courts for speedy disposal .
if your wife has filed DV case do mention it to company . it is for the company to decide .

my sister also want to change, but she does not want to disclose this at the time of interview. What is the genral tendency of corportes in such issues.
She has been made a party to DV just to pressure us nothing else.

you have not been charge sheeted or convicted in some serious criminal cases .
DV cases are becoming increasingly common inorder to extort money . as mentioned earlier it would depend upon company policy

This is purely a case demanding civil rights of money or house etc. and violation of the orders only fetch criminal liability to you as well you sister should not hide pendancy of such case against you.
