Husband and wife are citizen of USA and actually were married in India. divorce in USA filed by wife almost against the husband and he fled to india and has filed a divorce here in india. can the personal appearance of wife be dispensed with. any citations. moreover the case in usa is staled because of case pending in india.

what are the grounds on which wife has filed for divorce in USA?
case in USA wont be stalled as even if one party wants to proceed with case in US courts proceed ahead with the case . .
in india wife can appoint an advocate to appear on her behalf and give power of attorney to close family relative .

Thank you sir but the issue is the judge in Tirupati wants the personal apperance of wife to even take petition. we want to know if there is any provision in law to dispense with personal appearance.if any please help with it and any citations.

the grounds in usa is on domestic violence and abuse of child. husband found guilty of charges of abuse and violence has fled to india and filed a case for divorce here for domestic violence.
