Mr. Kailash,

You need to clarify the following points:

1) What was his salary at the age of superannuation (age of 60 years)?

2) What were the terms of his re-employment on extension in service?

3) What was his salary at the age of 62 yers and, if increased, on what basis his salary was increased?

1. The normal date of superannuation was 31/7/09 and at that time his salary is 22180 + 4800 = 26,980/-.

2. His service was extended for two years i.e. 1/8/2009 to 31/7/2011 without any break in service. The administration grant him all benefits like LTC,PIC, GPF contribution etc except GIS.

3. His salary at the age of 62 years is Rs. 24300 + 5400 = 29700 w.e.f. 1/7/2011

Pension is permissible on average emoluments as on the date of superannuation. You should feel lucky that the DDo has not deducted pension and pension equivalent of gratuity, as would have been admissible on the date of superannuation, from the salary drawn during the extended period of service, as per rules.
