CAN SUPREME COURT OF INDIA OR HIGH COURTS
TAKE COGNISANCE SUO MOTO OF MNS CHIEF'S HATE SPEECHES AND ITS MLAS' ROUDY BEHAVIOUR IN MAHARASHTRA ASSEMBLY.

No. The court cannot take its cognizance suo moto.

Higher Courts are not debarred to take suo motto cognizance in such matters which are openly against the National Integration as seen in case of MNS goondagardi. But why should we general people should leave all on courts rather weeding out such elements from the society and political arena of the country.

I concur with Mr. Makkad. Please refer to Constitution of India. High Courts and Hon'ble Apex Court can take cognizance of matters suo moto on its own satisfaction and can summons to any authority/ designatory in such capacity because of severity of powers i.e. legislative, judiciary and executory in the constitution itself.
