Getting legal notice from wife

(Querist) 05 May 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

My wife is sending legal notice to my native place address (Odisha) whereas i am staying in New Delhi with my parents in rented. I am not sure which kind of letter she is sending to my native place address. My neighbour(near to my native home) has told me that some legal notice has come and returned back by postman. This is the second time the letter has returned.
Please suggest me what should i do.

Please reply urgently.

Ask your parents to receive the letters and the notices, if any so the contents of the letters can be known.

If you are not available neither your parents are available in your home town, why do you bother about her notice, let she find out your Delhi address and resend it, watch the developments patiently and take action when situation warrants.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 06 May 2014
Let her find out the Delhi address and send the notice.

May ask your lawyer or friend to have a track if some court case has been filed in which publication notice has been ordered.

If your parents get the notice, then you should reply to the said notice with right facts.
