Small stamp value

One of my relatives wants to gift me ten percent of her plot. The stamp duty payable is Rs. 1042 only. Is it possible to get such a small gift of immovable property registered.

Nobody can transfer the immovable property without registration - either by way of sale deed, gift deed or relinquishing deed.
It can be done.

I agree with the experts advice. gift of the property (immovable) can be done only by registered document irrespective of its value.
