Attestation form filling

Guest (Querist) 08 November 2014 This query is : Resolved
The attestation form asks as :
(i)Whether expelled/discharged/withdrawn from any institute/training under government or otherwise?
(ii)If any case is pending against me in any court of law?
What should be my reply if I have been dismissed from public sector undertaking and I have filed a writ in High Court?

Guest (Expert) 08 November 2014
You have to state the facts. But, your eligibility to join Government/PSU would be subject to your winning the court case with honourable acquittal of the charge.

Thnx.I will disclose the truth.
But what should be my reply for if any case is pending against me.I feel it should be no as no case is pending against me but I have filed a writ.
Second what should be my reply for if I have been expelled from institution under government.Does public sector come under the clause "government" or it stands for all India services under CCS rules.
Third what would be the case after revealing all the facts about my final selection as I stand provisionally selected subject to document verification.

Your logic does not stand good at least the second one.
Anirudh (Expert) 09 November 2014
1. If no case is pending against you, then you can say no case is pending. (The writ petition filed by you is not against you, but initiated by you. therefore it will not qualify as a case pending against you)

2. If you had been expelled from any institution (whether Govt., PSU, or private) you have to indicate.

3. Once you reveal all the facts, the Administration will take appropriate decision and communicate to you. Nobody can predict it at this point time, except saying that they may either offer you the job, or they may deny you the appointment.

After reading the current views of Mr Anirudh, you should be clear that no expert (atleast top 50) is going to advise filling up wrong information and then getting in trouble later on.
