Regarding leave

i am working in central govt autonomus body (ESIC).i was given EOL for study purpose for pursuing my PG.my seniority and service remain intact in EOL.My query is that am i eligible for earned leave credit for that period as EOL for study purpose period count for qualifying service ,even EOL for medical purpose EL are credited for that duration .

EOL will eat away 1/10 of EL [i..e if you are on EOL for 300 days the leve credit of EL for next year will be zero]

No EL for study leave period till your specifically provide for it.

It is the study leave and not earned leave for pursuing higher studies.

study leave may not be admissible as he is on EL/EOL.

Any type of leave can be commuted for any other type of leave at the discretion of the competent authority.

Eligibility of earned leave during the period of employee under extra ordinary leave without pay pay is not admissible, however refer to the Leave Regulations.
