After 10 years completion of marriage my wife left my home and lodged a false 498a,406,4 cases on me and my family members on behalf of her father in rajasthan merta road.she lived with me in surat.opposition party went to the court and by using 156/3 false insidence was created by them that we all family went to the merta road on 5may 2013 and demanded 2.5 lakhs of rupees from my wife and in laws.their nieghbor had been standout for gavah.on that day my father and sister and my self too were on our job.me amd my sister muster roll shows the attendance of ours in our company.we are in private job.case is under trial.wrong charge sheet was made by io inspite of our neighbours told him that there is nothing in this case like dahej or harrasment.the girl was of angry mind and never listen to anybody.this is just for harrassing these innocent people and her father is financially strong and the sister of the boy is married to girl's brother so just to create pressure dont say anything to my daughter and bear everything what she is doing according to boy's father in law.neighbours gave all bayans and documents in favour of me but the io didnot represnt any of them in court and told the girl had been harassed for dahej.pls help now what to do

Dear Mr. Shakil,
In most of the cases under sec.498(a), the accused are acquitted, as majority of such cases are on false and frivolous allegations. You mentioned here that you have evidence to counter their charges such as attendance etc.
I believe that you appointed a good lawyer to fight for you. In such case, if the evidence favour you, the chances for acquittal are more.

Bring all proofs and facts before the court during proceedings.

If you have proofs regarding your absence, there are chances that the case would be dismissed.

It seems your sister is also married in the family of your in-laws, she can file counter cases in case of any DV etc.
