Land aquired for road....

Dear Sir,

I bought a plot. My plot is around 200 feet for main 30 feet road. And opposite side rainy river. Road is situated bank of river. But river only flows in rain. Road is between in river and plot. Now govt. want to convert this road to 4 lane.
My question if govt. aquired land, they will aquired both side of road or single side of my plot..

if the Government will acquire as per norms, compensate for the same.

Your question is totally based on presumption. How can one anticipate up to which way the land shall be acquired. Wait for the notification of the State to that regard.
