Leave and license period

(Querist) 19 September 2016 This query is : Resolved
Is there any restriction on cumulative leave and license periods during successive renewal of agreements?

I have given my flat on leave and license for cumulative period of 4 years which has the periods of 1 year, 2 years and 1 year. Whether I can renew it further to 2 years bringing the total cumulative period of 6 years. Is there any harm in doing so?

All the renewals are duly registered and stamped.

Please advise

It is not legal to renewal of said L & L as already there is a breakdown of 4 years of cumulative period incorporated in the said L & L . After completion of said period, you will required to executed and register a fresh L & L. It also have a question of paying stamp duty on such renewal.

You have the need to get your case papers examined in person by any expert with reference to property laws. Get that done for appropriate advice
