I want to know whether the time start for filing an appeal / review start from receipt of court order or from the issuance date of the order. Period of limitation for filling appeal/revision in civil suit is usually 30 days from the pronouncement of impugned order in the court , however time taken for obtaining the certified copies of the order/decree is exempted as these are required to be attached with appeal/revision petition.

However, different norms exist for other forums like administrative tribunals where the parties are entitled for a copy of the Order as a matter of course.

More over, daly in filing review/appeal could be condoned if sufficient cause is shown.
