Dear Mr Kumar - the superdari order does not specifically say that the vehicle can not be repaired . Under these circumstances can it be repaired.?

Which section of the Motor Vehicles Act or the CrPC specifically prohibits repair of a vehicle under superdari?

Thank you

Discuss with your Insurance Agent and they will do the needful. and also nothing illegal in your self repairing it with out claiming Insurance also but preserve the bills.

No harm getting the damaged vehicle repaired if it has to be used for traveling.
The superdhari is handing over the vehicle to be produced as and when required in the court as piece of evidence.
As far taking permission from the court for repair of the vehicle is concerned that should not be problem as you're not supposed to sell it or dispose it that makes it untraceable for production in the court when so ordered.
