Bachelor of General Law is not equivalent to LL.B.
On the basis of BGL you will not be able to take admission to LLM.
Whoever said that it is possible, have not guided you properly, probably they themselves are not quite aware of the correct answer!

BGL is not equilant to LLB or BL. You cannot enrol as an advocate with BGL degree and cannot go for ML/LLM. After BGL you can join MBL-Master of Business Law by which you be posted as Law Officer in banks or companies or legal firms.
