Regarding getting reveling letter

Hello,

my question is regarding to getting reveling letter from current company.
i have been working in one of software company in India since November 2011.
and since joining they didn't provide me any offer letter.

and not i have given resignation in this company and they are forcing me to stay in that company for two months as notice period.


what can i do in this situation.
experts please reply.

Try to settle the dispute amicably if you want this Relieving Letter for new job.
If you do not require this then simply quit it. In absence of a formal job contract they can not force you to serve 2 months notice period.

Apply for Resignation at the earliest, & request them to relieve you at early date.

ifyou want a reliving letter from compnay it is advisable to serve for 2 more months . amicable settlement is best . although legally you cnat be forced to serve for 2 more months as you did not receive any appointment letter mentioning these terms and conditions
