bought a piece of land 7-8 years back.. got it dakhil-kharij.. was changed to my name in khasra khatauni....

now i am being told by patwari that the DM has cancelled it and the land is not in name.

how can it be... it was not a pattaa...

Ask Patwari to show the orders of the DM to cancel the dakhil-kharij and also in whose name the land is shown at present.

PLEASE HELP

Thanks for the suggestion sir, but I contacted the patwari. He showed me his record book. There is 'Kharij' scribbled across the page of our record, with no signature, stamp or date... He says that this is by DM order as there have been frauds in the area...

The land is in Faridabad, and no computerised or other record is available to general public from tehsil, online, etc.

The patwari seems to be indulging in some fraud as he refused to do show anything else or take us to the place/site...

I have never been there. My father had bought it in my name and gave the papers to me recently to look after/visit the place as he is ill and could not go for past many years.

Is there any way in which I can get related information without going through the patwari... so that i can complain against him with proofs...????

Move an application before SDM Faridabad against Patwari and obtain the information through RTI and then get the land demarcation through
tehsildar.
