am vinod from bangalore,have been dragged me n my parents to police station for not listining to them .....can any one suggest me...

hi, am vinod. I and my parents were dragged to police station by my wife and her brothers. My wife logged a false complaint in the police station stating that she was harassed by me and my parents and took away my child. After that there was continuous harassment from my wife and her brothers and threatened for life to me and my family. Please suggest what to do.

there was simple family fights at our home n she(my wife)complained that to there house n there brothers and the next day she ran away from house living kid(1 year old daughter)with us(me n my parents)......and then after 15days she n her brothers went to police station n gave complaint stating that me n my parents have ill-treated her n thrown her out of the house.....claiming for the kid
to be handed over to mother of the kid as per law......in between this 15 days her brothers threatened me to listen to them n give the custody of kid to there brothers, for which i dint agree stating that i will hand over the kid only to her mother n then using there power they tried the same thing from an EX-DSP and an CBI officer,even to them i told the same thing but they told they will make my life into HELL by booking my family under 498a.....

You can file a police complaint in respect of their threats.

You can file a extortion case against them u/s 382/384 read with section 504, 506 of IPC if there is any threat for filing false complaint

You have no other option but to contest the cases as per the advice of your lawyer.

Ya have even tried,that but these police people gave very silly reasons to take the complaint and made me roam for 2 days to give an acknowledgement for the complaint......at last i dropped it.......
