Termination of service

I am working with limited company since 2003. city. deals in financial/broker services. suddenly I have been told to tender resignation and served me letter of redundancy. letter contain date 1st july and given to me on 17th july. last date mentioned in letter is 31st july. I seek your advise can I oppose their decision? what should be my next step? what legal remedies available to me?

I regret that there is efficacious remedy in white collar job circle in private sector. The civil remedy is too protracting to pursue.
You better opt for other job.

Depends much on the terms and conditions of your appointment letter, if issued at the time of your appointment.

consult nearest service lawyer alongwith papers and a copy standing orders registered by the company
