Dear Experts, thank you very much for your valuable advice and what is the stamp duty in A.P.for power of attorney for filing a case on behalf my father in the above matter? whether my father has to sign on the case papers or not.thanq.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 01 April 2014
The stamp duty for power of attorney deed will be paid as per Karnataka stamp duty act because your father will be executing the deed at Bangalore, it will be Rs. 100/- non judicial stamp. In the POA deed itself if there is a recital that you have been authorised to sign all the papers including vakalatnama on his behalf, it will be sufficient for you to proceed accordingly.
