Engaging the priave security guards

I would like to engage the private security gurads in my office establishment. please let me know the latest act applicbale for this in Maharashtra and do i need to register with the regulatory authority for this as a principal employer. if so, to whom should i approach for the registration. Thanks.

You have to take permission from the regulatory authority, not to register with it.

may i know the name of the regulatory authority. The Act provides for the registration as principal employer, who engage the registered security guards.

you have to obtain security guards from security guard board . the Board had all necessary powers under the Act to regulate all aspects of employment and all service conditions of private Security Guards;

Thanks everybody for comments. However, my question is I intend to depute private security guards in my office and not guards from security guards board. I would like to have advise in respect of that. 1981 Act provides for registration of prinipal employer also along with the security employer. since I have no clue on the updated Act or rules applicable to private security guards, I would like to have your expert views.
