Not being included in family tree

(Querist) 23 April 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

If my name is not mentioned in declared list of family members to revenue department so as to eventually use it to dispose off ancestral property, does it not only deem fit for a civil case but also amount to cheating and hence be treated as criminal cheating case?

please advise

Regards
Jai

Revenue authorities cannot have the final word as to the citizen's rights. You can move the court if they are wrong.

You can move to court with partition suit.

Why you feel the need of a family tree to prove your relationship with your ancestors?
malipeddi jaggarao (Expert) 24 April 2015
Family, Revenue Records are not final proofs about your legal heirship. If you have a right as legalheir and if somebody is contemplating to sell the property without your consent, file an injunction case restraining such moves and file partition suit. You require legal heir certificate, details of property.
