(Querist) 09 September 2015 This query is : Resolved
My Mother have some property , she have 1 son and 1 daugher.
she want to do a WILL , that her property will be solely
to her son and all bank balance to daughter. That will be
effective after her death.A draft of WILL have made .

My question is

1)We have to register this will from registry office ?
2)Is registry of WILL is mandatory ?
3)If we do this will without register , will it
be same like registered will ?

It is not mandatory to register the WILL.

Registered WILL fetches more reliance and may not be set aside.

The charges for registration are nominal and registration is by registering authority and you can confirm from local Sub-Registrar office.
