Brief about the case: State bank of Mysore has taken temporary employees (peons) for branch work and since then the temporary employees are rendering their services and last year the management agreed to regularise their employment and the salaries were paid at par with permanent peons and now all of a sudden without prior notice they issued retrenchment under section 25F of ID Act. Each of the temporary employee is rendering services more than 10 yrs...

Regularizing employees from contract is resolved. If ID Act provides for retrenchment, it is inevitable. Howeve , Order of retrenchment needs to be verified. If altravirus, has to be questioned?

Legal steps by individual may not fetch positive result and would be expensive.
Bank has now merged with SBI, consult employees association and file case. try to form a group.
