For Government job, you will have to wait till you are exonerated of the criminal charge by the court.

The candidate should inform the employer about the criminal proceedings pending in the court against him. The employer has to finally decide if the candidate eligible for the job or not, till that decision, the candidate is free to follow up complete procedures required for the job candidature there is no legal bar for applying and sit for various examinations required for the job.
