Applicability Of Leave & License Agreement In Delhi

Dear Sir,

I want to give my property on rent. I have heard that instead of entering into lease agreement its better to enter into Leave & license agreement with tenant as it will not create any legal problem for removing the tenant.

1. Whether I can enter into such agreement in Delhi?
2. It is better than Lease agreement or not.
3. What are the pros & cons of such agreement.

It is always advisable to enter into leave and license agreement as it is easier to evict a licensee than a lessee.

Think and ponder before giving property on rent , it will be defficult to evict the tanent in your life time.

Regarding lease and liecense agreement the protection to landlord is available upto twelve months only and that is why such agreements are done for eleven months.
