Statute of Limitation

I am an NRI, my property was sold in India without my knowledge and I have not received any money for the property. What can i Do to get my property back. Is there any statute of limitation. The registry has been done and everything.
Can someone please guide me into what are my options of getting my property back.

is it your self acquired for unpartitioned or share property? Moreover for a document there is three years limitation to agitate the same.

It's shared.
It was my grandfathers and other relative sold without my knowledge.
Can you give me some reference to where it states the limitation so I can do some more research

File a suit for declaration as the sale deeds are null and void your limitation for filing the case will starts from date of knowledge.
