Mr.A who lives in ambala gives his motor-cycle to hisfriend B for going to kurukstra. B instead of going to kurukstra drives the motor-cycle for going to chandigarh. He drives the motor cycle with reasonable care . while coming backfrom chandigarh to ambala he met withan accident and motorcycle is totally damaged.Can A claim damages from B.Give reasons.

since there is no agreement between A & B. But it is evident that the vehicle met with accident. as a owner you can claim damages from the B. But now B has a right to claim motor accident claim under M.V. act against the insurance Co, A and opposite vehicle which involved in collision.

since there is no agreement,legally you cannot claim.
however,if the vehicle is having comprehensive insurance coverage,you can claim the loss/damage from the insurance company.
